      Thanks. Webhosting company kicked the website. TBH, wasn’t sure I even wanted to move and launch it. Too little time to take care of it and too much stuff going wrong. Also it never made enough to even cover its costs. But I saw it’s still rather popular traffic wise. Maybe it can be turned around. Idk. What are currently the biggest pain points?

        Welcome back.
        There was a rather big problem with posts not getting added to the site. Sometimes it was one resolution, sometimes even both. Torrents were added and could be grabbed, but torrents that werent added to site were dead very fast.

        That problem was happening since late december, for 6-8 weeks, but since then it’s became better. It was probably related to traffic, as there were problems with database even when we were posting comments or opening posts, and probably these reasons were preventing some of your posts from popping on site, in worst cases both posts/resolutions/versions.
        But since then it’s became better.

          I’d say you could turn off comments in separate posts completely, erase everything from “requests” and “contact” and leave just one thread with comments in case of missed 0day releases, like on XC.
          Automatization works pretty well, except for these problems when posts are (were) not added to site, pretty much everything that shoudlve been grabbed for converting/uploading, was grabbed and added.

        Hi, Welcome back. I think most complaints are about missing scenes and occasional missing torrent files. BTW, can you add the FilthyFamily scenes again? Also, some MissaX scenes are missing.

      Well, yes, they are still actual. I’m not sure about 480p and 360p, but 720p is decent enough for:
      1) mobile phones. and most people probably do watch porn on phones.
      2) on 24-32″ FHD screens too. difference is not that drastic.
      3) it’s -30-40% to files’ size and with this amount of daily porn, these 30-40% are still a factor. personally it’s my reasoning.
      4) 720p is less popular on torrents (than 1080p), but it’s not like it’s WAY less popular. people still download 360p and 480p AVC. i even know people who still download movies in xvid/divx avi. so 720p HEVC is still pretty actual.

        Even pay-sites are still releasing 720p version. Hell, some of them are still releasing 480p, 360p and 270p (nubiles network) sources. We’re definitely not in 4k era yet, not even fully in FHD (yeah, it’s funny, coz my first FHD device was bought in 2010; and now there are still plenty of 768p laptops). And if not everything is released in 4k yet, there’s no reason for you to switch to 4k and Fhd versions. So probably if it’s okay, worth to continue to do 720p version too. By torrent’s stats, it’s behind 1080p of course, but not miles behind.

        And +30-40% to file size is okay, but once it’s ~7-10 files each day and many people are probably getting even more… I personally compared 1080p and 720p rips and found 1080p not worth the increase of file size. Porn is not an Avatar in terms of picture quality; even sources are not that great looking imo.

      I’ve been thinking that for years. I don’t know why 720p is still a thing. Especially, like you said, the size difference is insignificant.
      As for other problems. I’m seeing a lot of no seeded torrents.
      As for making things easier, and possibly easing traffic, put the torrent link on the main page. If someone wants a file, let them download from there and not make them have to go into that specific page. One less page load and click.
      If you do keep the 720p files around, instead of breaking them up into separate pages, make one page with both the 720 and 1080 version.

          That’s fine and I get it, but these are brand new uploads. Some are stuck at 99.9% others have no seeds at all.
          I have 14 files about half are of each. They are new as of the site being restored and have never been properly seeded.

            I also have several new uploads stuck at 99.9%, probably because the site was down for a while, so they never got enough seeds to take off.

            Perhaps you could seed the new uploads from the past couple of days for some time again? I’m happy to keep on seeding once I get them.

      I only ever download 720p when the 1080p is overblown
      How about only giving k2s and not torrents for 720p? That way you can seed the 1080p files for longer
      And for k2s, seriously look into adding a captcha to unlock the link. Some links are being taken down in under a week. Besides, you dont reupload k2s files and majority of torrents are dead in a week or 2. Somethings gotta change.

      I still do. 1080p version sometimes can be almost twice the size of 720p. As someone else mentioned, you can post both on the same post.

      720p is the default version for most of users sitting on laptops. Your real screen size is less than 1080p even if you sit on a Retina screen with 2k resolution. And the size of files is perfect.

    I get the 720p stuff since I can’t really tell the difference most of the time and that 20-30% seems significant to me, with current hard drive prices the way they are

    Good to see you. Ban user: SCORING for life. And Emissary too, that fag is annoying as fuck.
    As far as the the 720p I grab them occasionally. Mainly when the 1080p file is especially large, it’s usually the videos that are outdoors with lots of greenery, sometimes on those videos the kb/s is ridiculously high and I grab the 720p instead of the 1080p. So maybe like one out of ten I go for the 720p. The problem with the 720p torrents is they die so fast, if you don’t get them in literally the first two days at most your odds of getting it fully downloaded go down dramatically.

    And yes, 720p is very good. I only ever download 720p because I watch it on my laptop. Even thought my laptop screen is 1920×1080, it’s zoomed in because it’s impossible to read the text if not zoomed in to 125% or 150%. Which means, the screen is never 1080p. And the difference in viewing quality negligible. A lot of my old collections are in 720×404 & even those look good when viewing. 720p HEVC is absolutely god tier in terms of both file size & quality aspect. Please don’t abandon it.
